U.S. Outsources Dead Soldier Duty

  • Wonkette brings to our attention a job listing for a dead soldier body handler, a position that has since been removed from the website of the company that posted it, Serco. Funny thing about that Serco. They were started in London. And 74 percent of their business is in the UK, though they’ve grown by leaps and bounds in the United States since expanding here (and 28 other countries) in 1993. So, simply put, the U.S. is outsourcing the handling of dead soldiers. Hear that sound? It’s Lou Dobbs‘s arteries constricting. [Serco]
