Redmond O’Neal, wearing handcuffs and a standard-issue blue jail jumpsuit, was in a Los Angeles County Superior court Thursday morning; his first appearance outside of jail since his mother Farrah Fawcett’s June 30 funeral.
O’Neal’s lawyers and the prosecutor met briefly in Judge Sharon Miller’s chambers prior to entering the court room. In a hearing that lasted only five minutes, Remond’s lawyer requested a continuance on his felony drug possession case, which was granted.
A pre-preliminary hearing was set for August 21. Redmond will remain in lock-up until then.
