“Manhandling” women is risky business, but thankfully, Tom Cruise was just playing the role Wednesday while on the Boston, Massachusetts set of Wichita, the upcoming film he co-stars in with Cameron Diaz.

The film casts Cruise as a secret agent mysteriously involved with Diaz’s character. If seeing them onscreen brings back deja vu, it should: The pair played lovers in the 2001 drama Vanilla Sky.

The film, produced by Todd Garner, Kathy Conrad, Steve Pink and Joe Roth, hits theatres summer 2010.
