With her strapping husband Jon no longer by her side, Kate Gosselin is jumping into the single parent world by getting a little help with some heavy lifting on a recent day spent running errands.

Gosselin shopped at Target and picked up quite the load. Lucky for her, the employees helped her carry the heavy packages. Later on at the UPS store, a friend shared the parcel burden. She’s still a hands-on mom though, grabbing some packages on her own.
