Lady GaGa’s fast ascent to the top of the charts has resembled the type of career surge some American Idol performers have had when given a chance to showcase their wares on a national platform. So it only made sense to have the eclectic 23-year-old sensation perform her hit single, Poker Face, on Wednesday night’s results show.

With a strong pop beat guiding her passionate vocals, GaGa captivated the audience with her three-ring circus of a backdrop that included a bubble-filled piano, and a troupe of dancers dressed like the Men In Black.
