A bunch of movie soundtracks won Grammy awards last night. In fact, the soundtrack for Juno was the evening’s first winner, honored for Best Compilation Soundtrack.

A week of bad news for the Bat-Bale franchise ended as the honor for Best Score Soundtrack was won by James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer for The Dark Knight.

Best Motion Picture song went to Thomas Newman and singer Peter Gabriel for Down to Earth from WALL-E. The duo also won for the WALL-E tune Define Dancing, which took home Best Instrumental Arrangement.
