Placido Domingo will present his latest album Infinite Love at the Vatican this week.
The 12-track CD features “lyrics” by the late Pope John Paul II (based on his numerous poems), and new music by the Spanish tenor’s son, Placido Jr.
Vanessa Williams also joins 60-year old Domingo Sr. for a few duets.
Infinite Love will be unveiled by Domingo at a press conference on Friday.
The Vatican owns “all the Pope’s writings” and says royalties will go to the sovereign Holy See.
