Actor/stud Channing Tatum wowed the Today Show Friday while on the promotional trail for his latest flick, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

He talked about his recent marriage to beauty Jenna Dewan, noting “Its been a crazy year — the hits just keep coming.”

The handsome upstart action film star — who said he owned all of the army-themed action figures as a kid — said he put extra pressure on himself because “its my childhood, and I didn’t want to mess it up.”

The film hits theatres Friday, August 7.
