While recessions are hard, it forces one to be a bit more creative–like taking that exotic vacation in a glass.

Zaya Rum, a classic from Trinidad, makes one helluva Mojito–the perfect summer cocktail with a little transportive power. No passport required.

Zaya Mojito:     

1 1Ž2 oz of Zaya Rum

3Ž4 oz Lime Juice

1 teaspoon of Sugar

Splash of Soda

2 to 4 Mint Sprigs

Combine mint sprigs, sugar and splash of soda.

Lightly muddle until you smell the mint.

Add lime juice and Zaya Rum.

Fill with soda and garnish with a mint sprig
