Teresa Giudice is headed for prison on Jan. 5 but that hasn't stopped her from making headlines in the weeks leading up to her incarceration.
In August 2014, Teresa and Joe Giudice were sentenced to prison for fraud and tax evasion charges. The judge sentenced Teresa to 15 months and Joe to 41 months. Teresa played the victim saying she didn't understand the plea deal she signed would land her in prison.
Right after their sentencing, the Giudices sat down for an exclusive interview with Andy Cohen for Watch What Happens Live. Teresa blamed her former accountant for discrepancies in court documents instead of taking personal responsibility.
Teresa and Joe suffered a marriage meltdown after sentencing. As RadarOnline.com reported, the couple were bickering about ongoing money troubles and how to care for their four daughters as Joe, who has admitted he drinks too often, considered a divorce.
Despite their financial problems, Teresa reportedly spent $10,000 making a risqué music video for her daughter Gia's girl group 3KT.
Teresa stormed off the set while filming The Real Housewives Of New Jersey reunion where she battled with costars and family members.
Teresa is distancing herself from brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa. As RadarOnline.com reported, she refused to spend Christmas with them.
During a pre-prison family outing to see her daughter Gia perform, Teresa carried a $2K Valentino bag that an insider said RHONJ producers had given her as a prop for the show and she was instructed to return.
Teresa is reportedly looking for temporary homes for her daughters because an insider says she doesn't trust Joe to raise them alone. Gia may stay with one of her 3KT bandmates.
She's in denial! It's clear Teresa doesn't realize the harsh reality she is facing. Even her boss Andy Cohen admitted she and Joe "are either very un-introspective or in complete denial. Or both.”
Teresa revealed her resolutions for 2015 are to cut out bad carbs and keep the negative out. That might be difficult in prison!
