Liam’s Sister-In-Law Elsa Slams Miley After Nasty Split: ‘He Deserves Much More’

Liam Hemsworth’s sister-in-law Elsa Pataky rushed to his defense when talking about his nasty split from Miley Cyrus.
In an explosive interview with Hola!, the Spanish actress spoke candidly of the public breakup, saying “My brother-in-law, well, after a relationship where he dedicated 10 years, he’s discouraged … but he’s taking it well.”
“He’s a strong guy and he deserves the best. I think he deserves much more,” Chris Hemsworth's wife, 43, added.
Her scathing comment comes nearly two months after RadarOnline.com exclusively reported Liam’s family members were furious at Miley, 26, for the way she treated him following their separation.
“They are the ones picking up the pieces,” a source told Radar. “And they’ll happily do anything to protect Liam, including shutting Miley out of Liam’s life.”
Fans know that before announcing her split from her new husband, Miley was caught kissing Hills star Kaitlynn Carter in Europe, and after ending things with her, she quickly jumped into a hot and steamy relationship with Aussie musician Cody Simpson.
The singer also released her emotional breakup song, “Slide Away” about her broken relationship with Liam, 29, causing fans to assume their romance had been going downhill for some time.
Not long after that, Liam filed for divorce.
“The breakup song, the smear campaign implying he has addiction issues, her texting him at random – it’s all infuriating to them,” the source continued. “They welcomed Miley with open arms even though she was way too wild and immature for their friendship group, and they feel betrayed by her behavior too.”
Liam has stayed silent about his ex’s wild post-split behavior, but he did recently unfollow her from Instagram. He’s also seemed to have moved on, with photographers recently capturing snaps of him on a date with model Maddison Brown.
