Bobbi Kristina Brown was born on March 4, 1993, to Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. "Having Bobbi Kristina ... I could never do anything that could top that,” Houston said. "There's been nothing more incredible in my life than having her."
The young girl grew up in a home filled with chaos. Her parents' relationship was volatile and the couple, who reportedly battled substance abuse when their daughter was very young, often got into explosive fights. She had to endure getting dragged into the spotlight as a young child, often appearing on the red carpet with her mom or dad.

She was often seen looking frightened at awards shows and parties.

Houston's chauffeur, Al Bowman, witnessed much of the chaos surrounding the star's little girl. "Bobbi always wanted to be just like her mom and now it seems she may have followed in her footsteps," he said in a recent interview

"It's heartbreaking, a real tragedy. This young girl was raised in a world no child should live in," said Bowman.

The chauffeur added, "Whitney was a complete train wreck. I couldn't bear seeing her daughter sat there in amongst it all, it was so sad."
Brown reportedly witnessed terrible things growing up with two parents who were substance abusers.
In 2003, the little girl watched as her dad was arrested for allegedly getting physical with Houston during a fight at their home.
The little girl suffered emotional trauma when her mom checked herself into rehab in March 2004.
Old wounds were reopened when Houston had to leave her 12-year-old daughter again for a second stint in rehab in 2005.
The 14 year old was devastated when her famous parents decided to end their 14-year marriage.
Houston gained custody of her troubled daughter.
The teen was then caught in the middle of a bitter custody fight.
Brown reportedly tried to stab her famous mother before slitting her wrists in a shocking suicide attempt when she was just 14 years old.
Just days before celebrating her 15th birthday, the rebellious teen and her mother, who later died in a drug-addled drowning three years later, got into heated argument at her uncle Gary Houston’s Atlanta home, family member Ann Davis told The Enquirer in a 2008 report.
The troubled teen grabbed a sharp object and tried to stab Houston, Davis said the child’s father Bobby Brown, told his mother Carole.
She then reportedly attempted suicide by slashing her wrists with a razor blade.
After she was rushed to a local hospital, “Carole told me Bobbi Kristina was transferred to and spent three days at Peachford psychiatric hospital,” David recalled of the alleged February 17, 2008 incident.
A shocking video surfaced of Brown smoking marijuana from a three-foot-tall bong, inhaling the swirling pot smoke so deeply that she nearly collapses in a coughing fit.
Shot in March 2011, the 18 year old was partying with friends who attend college in Statesboro, Georgia.
Brown was caught doing drugs on camera snorting not long after.
The National ENQUIRER splashed eight photos of Brown across a two-page spread where she's clearly seen taking lines of cocaine up her nose off a plate at an Atlanta-area house party.
"Krissi was pretty wired. I also saw her kiss a man and drink a 40-ounce bottle of Budweiser," her former boyfriend said at the time.

“Whitney needs to see what her daughter is doing to herself,” said the boyfriend. “If Krissi doesn’t stop soon, this addiction to cocaine will kill her!”
Houston’s daughter was acting out and taking drugs at the same time her mom was spiraling down. The superstar checked into rehab in May of 2011.
In April 2012, a source told RadarOnline.com that the teenage Brown was getting her own reality show. A source said they were afraid the show would be a "train wreck," due to her ongoing struggle with drug and alcohol abuse.
Brown and Nick Gordon, the boy she grew up with and treated like a sibling for years, claimed they were engaged in 2012 in a scene from their reality show The Houstons: On Our Own.
Tragically, Bobby Brown was worried for his daughter’s health as far back as 2012.
"I trust and believe that she’s smart enough to not go down the same road that maybe I did in the past or her mother did in the past," he said.
The former singer also noted that he "would always be worried about that" his girl might start slipping.
A devastated Brown attended her mother’s funeral in February 2012. "Always be proud of your mother, she loved you so very much. She defined not only pure talent, but true heart and soul as well," legendary music mogul Clive Davis told her during the service. "She will forever be looking over you and will never let go of your hand."
In 2014, Brown was distraught after one of her best friends died. According to local reports, Chelsea Bennett tragically passed away last March at the age of 20 after Cory Ben-Hanania allegedly injected her with a lethal dose of extra pure heroin. When she passed out, reports claim, she was left unconscious for 10 hours before anyone called 911.
Brown was often depressed and missed her superstar mom. She kept Houston's room exactly as it was when she died.
The mother of one of Bobbi Kristina's best friends, Shelby Derrington, tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that her daughter saw the troubling tribute firsthand — and became concerned for her famous friend. "She had taken Shelby to her mom’s bedroom and it was exactly the way it was when she had died," Debbie Derrington revealed.
In an explosive tell-all, a man who had gone to school with Brown and has remained close to her said the 21 year old was on "a tragic downward spiral" at the time of her horrific Jan. 31 medical emergency.
In one disturbing revelation, the man alleged to The National ENQUIRER that he was aware of a specific incident in September 2014 when he joined his close pal, Brown, and 28-year-old Gordon to smoked crack together at a friend's birthday celebration in a Roswell, Georgia, park.
The man, who The ENQUIRER chose not to name, claimed Brown and Gordon recently began sleeping in separate bedrooms because of continued fighting in their relationship.
Police were called to their Roswell residence on Jan. 23 over a reported fight.
But when cops arrived, no one was home. The man said: "The Wednesday before Krissi was found, she texted a friend of mine, saying, 'I don't think things between me and Nick are working out.'"
"Krissi wanted to leave him, and had plans to move to California to follow in her mother’s footsteps as a singer," the source continued."Sadly, it looks like her dreams will never be fulfilled."
Brown continued to struggle with the loss of her mother years after she was found drowned in an L.A. bathtub. "I was ALLLLL my mother lived for," Brown wrote in a desperate text message, sent days before she was found unresponsive in a bathtub. "Despite the fame, the fortune, the power — any and everything, my mother has done FOR ME lady."
Her passing left Brown with "pain like your heart has been ripped out of your chest,” Brown revealed in another message, admitting she felt "alienated" and "lost" in the years “after my mother passing."
Brown was last spotted out publicly on Jan. 20 with her self-proclaimed "husband" on Jan. 20 in their hometown of Roswell, Georgia. The two were exiting a CVS drugstore.
Shortly before she was found unconscious in a bathtub, Brown was involved in a serious car wreck. And now, the victim's family tells RadarOnline.com that he’s still "hanging" on to life, and that they’ve hired an attorney.
A police report obtained by RadarOnline.com showed the 22-year-old was behind the wheel of the Jeep Liberty and lost control in Roswell, Georgia, on Jan. 27, reportedly due to a tire puncture, swerving into the wrong lane and colliding with Russell Eckerman’s 2007 Ford Taurus, in which he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.
In sad, last photos snapped right before her accident, she looked shockingly thin.
Family sources revealed that Brown’s organs were slowly shutting down, despite efforts to keep her alive with life support.
RadarOnline.com learned that doctors removed Brown’s breathing tube from her mouth on Feb. 17 and performed a tracheotomy, which opened a direct airway into Whitney Houston’s daughter’s trachea. The advantage of a tracheotomy is that it’s a direct airway into the trachea (windpipe).
Gordon pleaded with Brown’s father, Bobby Brown, to let him see her in the weeks after her tragic bathtub incident. “Nick has been trying, privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively,” attorney Richard Kessler said in a statement to RadarOnline.com on Feb. 18.
Right until the end, the chaos raged around Houston’s daughter. She died on July 26, but Gordon now faces a $10 million lawsuit over claims he mistreated her, which he denies.
