Britney Spears looked radiant as she celebrated the debut of her new album, "Britney Jean," and the upcoming launch of her Vegas show at the Planet Hollywood casino on Tuesday night. But is it all an act? Spears' former confidante, Sam Lutfi, has released a series of disturbing text messages that he claims are from the pop star, and which contain several shocking allegations about her parents and her life under the conservatorship.

Lutfi was prompted to post the texts -- which are undated and may or may not be from Spears -- just past midnight on Tuesday after a fan tweeted him asking "when will her greedy father Jamie release her from this conservatorship?!!"

He answered, "Hmm good question, here's an old text from her you be the judge"

"A father has a daughter," the disjointed text reads. "But why bother watch somthin about mary sic he calls me every name in the vocabulary and I'm a f***in noonesic so where's my son …"

Eight minutes later, Lutfi posted without comment another equally illegible text that reads, "now cuz my dad will send me away again he's soo mean I can't believe they hurt me like this I seriously don't believe in anything but I do know my heart feels better when I talk to u my dads reading everything right now that I text and everybody's really scares me I miss my babies and I'm really still scared I'm never gonna see my babies again"

Fans immediately struck back, asking Lutfi, who was hit with a restraining order from Spears' camp in 2008, when he will stop talking about Spears. "Not till the truth is out, so I can have my life back as well," he wrote in response, soon releasing one long text split into two tweets.

"My mom and dad are soo mean," the text reads. "They don't care about me, they just want my money and my babies. They stole my voice and scarred me for life. I will never forgive them they tapped my phone so we are goin to get in trouble I hate my life ivr become a nobody …"

"All they care about is $$$$," the text continues. "They make up lies about you to all these f*****g shady lawyers."

Seemingly mentioning Spears' ex-fiancéJason Trawick, the text goes on, "Jasons sic the only person I can talk to but he likes me and I don't feel the same but he's good with my babies. I'm sad So sad Lost very lost"

Commenters pointed out that this text, in green, looked like an outgoing text from an iPhone. However, Lutfi insisted, "Don't be ignorant. These are forensic and they know they're real. Wake up already. So sad to see so much ignorance."

One fan then brought up Lynne Spears' gripping 2008 legal declaration against Lutfi, in which she claimed the shady svengali had practically imprisoned an emotionally fragile Britney, Lutfi answered, "What's sad is it was all a lie. After this much time, I've realized Lynne may have felt cornered and had to say those things … at the time, I really like Lynne and did everything I could to reunite them. I hope to gain the courage to forgive one day."

Lutfi was Spears' right-hand man during her much-publicized breakdown in 2008, but was edged out by her parents amid claims of wrongdoing when the pop star was placed under a conservatorship. He maintains that he did nothing wrong during the course of their friendship.

When approached by RadarOnline.com for comment, a rep for Spears said that the leaked messages are a legal matter, and deferred us to a legal representative, who had yet to comment at the time of publication.
