Amid whispers the couple’s fraud convictions and pending prison sentences have them teetering toward a split, Bravo’s Andy Cohen said that Teresa and Joe Giudice seem “very unified” during their darkest days, calling the reality TV couple "a pretty solid unit."
Cohen dished the new details about the Real Housewives of New Jersey stars speaking with EXTRA to promote Thursday night’s broadcast of part two of Watch What Happens Live: One-On-One with Teresa and Joe Giudice.
Cohen also previewed another touchy subject talked about in the no-holds-barred special: Joe’s admitted issues with the bottle, as his attorney requested a rehab stint on the heels of his sentencing last week.
"We also talk about whether he has a problem with alcohol, and some other kind of allegations that they made in court about the show,” Cohen said.
The talk show host told the show that the recent reunion show taping “was really dramatic, emotional and intense.

"Obviously there was an undercurrent of something incredibly serious that’d just happened with Teresa, but we all got through it."
One question that won’t be answered anytime soon is what type of working relationship Bravo will have the Giudices moving forward — Teresa, the focal point of the Real Housewives of New Jersey, reports to jail Jan. 5 — as Cohen said no decision has been made about if and how they will remain a part of the popular franchise.
The second installment of the interview airs Thursday at 9/8c on Bravo.
