Host Tom Bergeron asked the former judge of The X Factor, "What are you going to be looking for tonight?" to which the Forever Your Girl singer joked, "I'm looking for Simon and Randy!"

"Carrie Ann, you look pretty tonight," Paula said, "and you'd be the prettiest girl here if it weren't for Bruno!"

This week's gimmick was that the celebs had to dance to routines chosen for them by their peers last week; in the competition, Gilles Marini and Shawn Johnson established themselves as standouts after weeks of solid performances, as both dancers received near-perfect scores of 39.5 out of 40 possible points.

Gilles won accolades for his Bollywood-inspired dance to Jai Ho, dressed as a sexy genie.

Bruno told the Sex & The City star: "Darling, that was about as spicy as a vindaloo -- a Bollywood superstar is born!"

Paula said Shawn's mambo showcased the Olympian's "elegant" and "shining" presence on the ballroom floor.

"You think you've seen it all," Bruno mused, "and it keeps getting better."

On the flip-side, Bristol Palin continued to run at the bottom of the pack, finishing second-to-last for her rock n' roll-inspired dance, though the judges said they're seeing gradual improvement from the young Alaskan each week.

"You're truly blossoming," Carrie Ann told the single mom, while Len told her, "You came out and gave it your all."
