The lawyer for Oksana Grigorieva has hit out at the multi-millionaire actor Mel Gibson, saying he is paying no child support for their infant daughter Lucia.

Speaking exclusively to RadarOnline.com, Lisa Bloom, who joined Team Oksana on Thursday, said: “Mel Gibson, at this point, is a deadbeat dad.”

“He is well behind on his court ordered child support, causing a lot of problems for his children and the mother of one of his children,” Bloom revealed, in a video interview.

“It is time for him to get serious about this case and do the right thing.”

When asked to explain why he had failed to pay the child support, Bloom said: “Because he wants to continue to bully Oksana, this is a pattern of behavior that has gone on and on and he thinks he can take advantage of the mother of his daughter.”

A Los Angeles judge had ordered the Lethal Weapon star, who is worth an estimated $600 million, to increase his monthly child support payment to Oksana from $5,000 to $20,000 each month.

But RadarOnline.com has learned Mel’s camp is refusing to hand over the actor’s hard-earned cash, until the judge rules on a dispute over whether Mel can charge rent for the Sherman Oaks home he owns, where Oksana and Lucia live.

Mel wants $6000 deducted from the monthly figure, for rent.

Bloom said: “He has a lot of excuses as to why he is not paying, but the bottom line is that, just like any ordinary person, who has to pay their court ordered child support, wealthy celebrities also have to pay it too.”

The Russian musician, 40, is “having a very hard time financially” supporting herself and her two children, Bloom added.

“We are going to fight until Mel Gibson pays every penny of the court ordered child support,” Bloom said.

Bloom, who replaced high-profile family law specialist Sorrel Trope, also confirmed Mel's lawyers want Oksana to sit for a fourth day of depositions, even though Mel hasn't sat at all for his interrogation.

“This is a case where we have a very wealthy and powerful celebrity who is trying to take advantage of the mother of his daughter -- and it has got to stop,” she said.

“All she has is her intelligence and her courage and her dignity and I am very proud to be associated with Oksana.”

Oksana has alleged that Mel punched out two of her front teeth, leaving her bloodied, bruised and with a concussion after a brutal fight at the Oscar winning actor’s Malibu mansion in January.

Oksana also claimed Mel, 54, struck her while she was holding Lucia — causing a small abrasion on the tiny tot’s chin.

Bloom revealed “there are some issues with baby Lucia” and admitted she had concerns for the child’s welfare, but would not specially reveal what.

“Everyone has seen the pictures and heard the tapes, the issues to us here are the domestic violence,” she said.
