Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are allegedly fighting as they continue to face backlash for writing letters of support for their former That 70s Show co-star, convicted rapist Danny Masterson, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Insiders said the two have decided to keep a low profile — while the husband-wife duo reportedly point fingers at each other over who is to blame for their downfall.

"All the bashing they've been getting online and in the press has sent them into the bunker and now they're blaming each other," a source squealed to the National Enquirer.

After Masterson was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison on September 7 for the rape of two women, letters the couple wrote, in which they asked the judge to go easy on their former co-star, were released to the public, setting off a firestorm for the couple.

Ashton, 45, and his wife, 40, of eight years rushed to release a taped apology in the midst of backlash. A week later, both resigned from Thorn, an anti-sex abuse non-profit the actor founded. But a friend revealed that the pair are still struggling with fears that they sabotaged their careers.

The insider said the couple is still angry at each other for not realizing what a mistake it was to defend disgraced Masterson.

"Mila and Ashton have never been so universally savaged," spilled the source. "It's put an amazing strain on their relationship. In some ways, this is worse than a cheating scandal or political controversy."

Insiders claimed that the two stars are at each other's throats over how to fix the fiasco.

"Ashton thinks the best solution for them is to lie low," the mole continued. "But Mila says they need to get out there and make it clear they know they made a huge mistake.”
