Janice Dickinson & Four Other Accusers To Testify Against Bill Cosby In Retrial
Janice Dickinson will testify in Bill Cosby’s retrial this April 2.
The former model will be one of the five accusers who will testify against the sleazy actor. According to reports, she and the others will recount their accusations against Cosby, 80, and let the judge decide his fate.
Cosby’s first trial in June 2017 ended in a mistrial after jurors were unable to reach a verdict.
While the comedian’s legal team tried to convince Judge Steven O'Neill not to allow the women to speak, he stood by his decision. Prosecutors supported his choice, and pointed out that the five women’s claims greatly resemble those of Andrea Constand, who sued Cosby after he allegedly drugged and raped her.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Dickinson accused Cosby of having raped her in 1982. While the comedian called her a liar and denied all claims, the court allowed the 63-year-old beauty to go on with her case.
“We have been fighting this case for three years and we will continue fighting until we get Mr. Cosby’s deposition, until Ms. Dickinson gets a trial before a jury, and on any further appeals as necessary. Ms. Dickinson is strong and I am committed to this case,” said Dickinson’s lawyer, Lisa Bloom in a statement.
Though Bill Cosby has been accused of sexual assault by over 20 women, it is unknown which other four accusers will testify against him in his retrial.
The shocking update in Cosby's case comes after RadarOnline.com exclusively reported Judge Steven O'Neill had a blowout fight with a key witness. In 1998 he reportedly got close to lawyer Maureen Coggins — who was an assistant district attorney working under Bruce L. Castor Jr. Soon after, Castor was widely criticized for declining to press charges against Cosby in 2005.

After finding out the dirty details, Cosby's rep confessed to RadarOnline.com that the comedian's legal team was shaken by the "very disturbing" allegations and would need to do their own research before moving forward with their case.
As readers know, District Attorney, Kevin R. Steele, previously argued that Castor's opinion was not relevant and should not be presented to a jury in the case; Judge O’Neill, however, will make the final call.
