Patrick Swayze’s Family Claim His Will Was Forged, Demand Investigation

A vicious family feud that has been raging over the late Patrick Swayze’s estate has turned even bitterer in recent months.
Now the late Hollywood star’s niece, Danielle Swayze, has laid bare details of the civil war waging between her family and Patrick’s widow, Lisa Niemi, in an exclusive interview with The National ENQUIRER.
The 26-year-old revealed the heartbroken family’s anger over the validity of a will that they claim was forged and added they don’t even know where the Dirty Dancing actor’s ashes are!
“It’s not about money – I just want the satisfaction of knowing,” Danielle explained.
An expert analyzed the signature on the will in question and determined it “unlikely” to be Patrick’s. “It does not look like a natural signature,” Peggy Walla, a Texas-based forensic examiner, concluded.
Now Danielle is calling for action: “There needs to be an investigation! If it is a forgery, that’s a felony!”
As RadarOnline.com reported, a “surprise” will was filed in a New Mexico court in August that blindsided some of the Dirty Dancing star’s relatives. Swayze’s entire estate – worth an estimated $40 million – was left to his 58-year-old widow, Niemi. The alleged forged will left Swayze’s mother, Patsy, completely out of the picture, and it also didn’t include his two brothers or his sister. Instead, Niemi’s brother, Eric, made the cut while also receiving the title of co-executor of the estate.
The document in question was signed by “Patrick Swayze” and executed on July 27, 2009.
The only problem? The actor was hospitalized at the time, according to a family friend who believes Swayze wasn’t functional enough to sign anything.
“He was very sick, emaciated and high on an anti-seizure drug…and 10 different medications,” the friend said. “Patrick was barely coherent!"
In his final months, Swayze became dependent on Dilantin, and Niemi allegedly pushed her ailing husband to finish the audio version of their book, The Time of My Life, withholding his Dilantin if he refused to work, sources claimed to The ENQUIRER.

Family members also charged that once Swayze died, Niemi tried to evict his mother, Patsy, from the home he bought her. She died four years later and Danielle said Niemi refused to help pay the funeral costs – despite inheriting Swayze’s fortune. Instead, Danielle raised $8,000.
The worst part for the family, revealed Danielle, is that Niemi was supposed to scatter Swayze’s ashes at his beloved New Mexico ranch following his death, but she didn’t invite the family.
“We don’t know where his ashes are – if she kept them, sold them or has them,” said Danielle. “We’re killing ourselves with questions that go unanswered.”
