Lindsay Lohan: What! I Have A Secret Half-Sister?

In a bizarre moment, Lindsay Lohan acted surprised when asked on Friday’s Good Morning America about this week’s widely-reported news that she had a secret half-sister.
When GMA’s Amy Robach broached the topic that her dad Michael had recently been given positive DNA proof that he had fathered a child, now 17-years-old, out of wedlock with a former mistress, LiLo replied: "I didn't even hear that, so thanks for the news!" (She didn’t hear the news?)
Lindsay was on GMA to promote her upcoming Lifetime movie, Liz & Dick, and most of Robach’s questions were generic, if not softball. Robach’s follow-up to LiLo (stunningly) laughing off news of her having a secret half-sister: “How does your family handle all those headlines splashed daily?”
Robach -- who proclaimed the movie “fantastic” at the top of the interview -- didn’t exactly channel her "inner Barbara Walters" and ask specific, hard-hitting questions of the Mean Girls star, 26, who’s had more than her share of legal trouble and family drama.
Instead throughout the interview, Robach asked only general questions at best, saying: “Liz Taylor’s life was out-of-control at times, and to honest, so has yours. From the moment you step out of your house, there’s often times drama, there’s been legal trouble. Do you think your life and career would have been different without the constant scrutiny?”
Lindsay’s response: “Um.. I mean obviously yes, to a certain extent, but um, I think that everyone goes through things in life, and I like to learn from my mistakes, obviously, but I wouldn’t be who I am today if I hadn’t gone through certain things, everything happens for a reason, good or bad, so you can just take what you’ve learned from it and move forward.”

Lohan’s appearance on GMA came days after she canceled an in-depth interview with ABC’s Barbara Walters, only to make a surprise comedic appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. She’s also scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno next Tuesday.
Liz & Dick premieres on Lifetime November 25 at 9/8c.
