Just because she isn’t super skinny like those Victoria’s Secret models, doesn’t mean that Robyn Lawley can’t rock a bikini to perfection!
The plus-sized model, who is quickly making a name for herself in the fashion world after scoring a contract with Ralph Lauren, recently stripped down into several skimpy swimsuits and flaunted her fabulous figure in the Cook Islands for the November issue of Cosmopolitan Australia, and RadarOnline.com has the photos.
The 23-year-old Aussie, who is signed with Bella models and has been working in the “plus-sized” industry since she was 18, has appeared on the cover of Vogue Italia and French Marie Claire, but is the first plus size model to appear on the cover of her homeland’s Cosmo.
“I’m a size 12, and I think weight doesn’t really matter,” Lawley revealed to Good Morning America in September when asked about her weight.
She also revealed her struggle to stay thin as a mainstream model earlier in her career.
“I got a huge amount of pressure to diet. And my body, it was such a battle for me to do that because I’m such a big bone, and I’m tall and I’m broad.”
After quitting the catwalk and moving to France, where she “fell in love with food all over again and came back much bigger than she was,” the world of plus-sized modeling opened up for her.
“I saw plus-size models doing well. And I decided that I wanted that, I wanted to be in magazines.”
Robyn's stunning shoot was styled by Nicole Adolphe and shot by Steven Chee. Hair and makeup was provided by Rachel Brook.
