Katie Holmes continues to gear up for her high-profile divorce!

A week after she shockingly filed to legally end her marriage to Tom Cruise, the 33-year-old made a visit to her powerhouse divorce lawyer Allan E. Mayefsky on Friday morning – and RadarOnline.com has the details and photos

Sneaking out of the New York City apartment that she moved into last week, the Dawson’s Creek star arrived at the offices of her legal pit bull attorneys, Aronson, Mayefsky and Sloan on Lexington Ave, where she entered through the garage.

Mayefsky is the same lawyer who represented Peter Cook in his bitter divorce from Christie Brinkley.

Earlier in the day, Katie was spotted buying milk at her neighborhood grocery store, wearing a peach colored top and blue jeans.

Days after Holmes filed for divorce on June 29, Cruise hired Dennis Wasser, the same lawyer who represented him for his divorce from his second wife, Nicole Kidman.
