Paris Hilton was caught in a scuffle early Wednesday morning with a photographer, but RadarOnline.com has learned it was actually the heiress who started it and we have the exclusive video footage to prove it.
Photographer Billy Barrera was at the West Hollywood nightclub Bootsy Bellows on Tuesday night into the early hours of Wednesday morning covering Katy Perry's movie premiere after-party when he says he bumped into Paris in the lower level of the parking garage on his way to the bathroom — and she attacked him for no reason.
"It was 3:30 in the morning, the party was over and I was just walking through the parking lot to go to the bathroom when I see Paris, so I turned on my camera," Billy exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
"I wasn't expecting to get jumped! I've shot Paris a lot and am always nice to her."
It's evident in the video obtained by RadarOnline.com that Paris, wearing sunglasses while indoors after a night of partying, started the physical altercation and Billy says he's convinced Paris thought he caught something on camera that she didn't want the public to see, so she and her entourage — including heir Brandon Davis — were trying to take it from him.
"Paris was acting like she was on drugs. I know drugs, I've seen a lot of people on them, and Paris is one of them," Billy says.
"She attacked me for no reason, like you can see on the video, but what you don't see is that she was hanging off my neck like a piggy back ride as I walked up to the next garage level."
A former investigative journalist, Billy went on to explain, "Her friends all started attacking me and no one could see us until we got up to that next level, and that's when I yelled for help and the other paps came running and shot some video."
In fact, Billy says Paris and her entourage attacked him for nearly two minutes before he finally just sat down and the cameras started rolling — and when the cameras stopped, Billy says everyone scattered and he was approached by someone at the nightclub.
"Some chick who was with the nightclub came after me and tried to take my camera and buy me out," Billy says.
"She said she wanted to negotiate with me, telling me this was bad publicity for the club."
But Billy says he declined, kept his camera, and just wants the truth out.
"I never hit her back," Billy says. "I just held on to my camera and waited for it to end."
