Brooke Mueller's arraignment for felony possession of cocaine in Aspen, Colorado, which had been scheduled for Monday, December 19, has been continued until after the New Year, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Charlie Sheen's ex-wife was arrested on December 2 after allegedly assaulting another woman in an Aspen nightclub. Cops claim they found Mueller with cocaine in her possession.
"Defendant’s motion to continue her appearance on December 19th, was granted. Per the Order from Judge Nichols, she is to appear next on January 23, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Defendant was ordered to be personally present at that time," Chief Deputy District Attorney Arnold Mordkin told RadarOnline.com in a statement.
Mueller decided to enter a long term treatment facility yesterday, after abandoning her original plan of doing outpatient rehab. The decision to enter residential treatment was made so that she can "focus on recovery without distraction," her rep Steve Honig said.
