Fashionista Kate Middleton looks stunning in everything she wears, and while she has become a style icon, her clothing budget has already hit a whopping $54,000 in just the first six months of this year!

The future Queen of England has her wardrobe paid for by her father-in-law, Prince Charles, and the glamorous Duchess of Cambridge has run up quite the bill.

It has been reported that Kate does not want to be seen as a “clothes horse,” and she often recycles her outfits, but the Daily Mail reported that she has spent more than $54,000 on clothes since the beginning of 2012.

Prince Charles has agreed to pay for Kate’s “work-related” clothes through his official Household budget even though Prince William inherited $15 million from his mother Princess Diana’s estate for his 30th birthday.

Kate’s father-in-law will be releasing his financial accounts in the next few days, and the cost of her wedding will be included in that also.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Kate’s family paid $450,000 towards her wedding, including $70,000 for her stunning Alexander McQueen wedding gown.

Kate’s fashion choices have been a boon for the industry, as her outfits fly off the shelves and sell out within hours of her wearing them.
