For once it wasn't Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie who stood out at a royal event with their wacky hats. None other than Kate Middleton took top price with her zany headdress at the Trooping of the Color festivities Saturday in London.
Kate and the rest of the royals watched some of the colorful military event from a Buckingham Palace balcony. She was also seen in an open carriage with her mother-in-law Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall and her brother-in-law Prince Harry .
Kate's ensemble was a silver-grey Erdem dress and Jane Corbett hat, which stood out in sharp contrast to Queen Elizabeth's bright yellow outfit. Prince William was dashing in his dress military uniform.
