The future King of England, whose beautiful bride Kate Middleton turned the big three-oh earlier this year, celebrates the milestone birthday on Thursday, marking three decades as one of Britain’s royal treasures. With the birthday also comes a sizable gift. The Duchess of Cambridge’s husband will be able to cash in on an estimated $15.5 million inheritance left behind by his later mother, Princess Diana, who died in a car crash in 1997.
Don’t expect any wild parties to mark his special day! Though Buckingham Palace declined to give any details about his plans, they maintain that it will be a “low-key” and “private” affair.
