More Scam Proof? Nicole’s Morocco Trip Canceled After She ‘Has No More Money To Send’
Feb. 25 2019, Updated 11:51 a.m. ET
Nicole Nafziger’s fiancé Azan Tefou was accused of scamming her when he called off their wedding and used her money for the nuptials to open a business. Now, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the possible “get-rich-quick-scheme” is getting even more suspicious!
“Azan’s sister was supposed to send her a ticket two weeks ago to go to Morocco, but she never did,” a source close to the family told RadarOnline.com.
The news comes after the source explained Nafziger has “no more money to send him.”
“When she was working at Starbucks, she would send him part of her paycheck,” the insider said. “Now she has no job. She’s living in a trailer with her sister.”
On 90 Day Fiancé: Will Nicole & Azan Say I Do?, Nafziger and Tefou called off their wedding because they “don’t have enough money.”
“Instead of the wedding, we have decided to try to open up a beauty shop,” Nafziger said on the episode. “A lot of the money I saved up from America is now in the store.”
Nafziger gave Tefou $6,000 to open a beauty store in Morocco, while he only contributed $500 to the company. He explained how only his name is on the rent. He also refused to show her mother the actual store.
“I am surprised the purchasing of the store takes precedence over the wedding,” Nafziger’s mom said. “That looks suspicious. Maybe this whole store thing is Azan’s get-rich-quick scheme.”
She told her daughter, “Azan is going to be gone with your money!”
The couple called off their wedding for the first time because Nafgizer brought copies instead of official documents for their marriage license and visa.
Tefou and TLC have not yet responded to RadarOnline.com’s questions about the possible scam.
