RHOA: Phaedra Parks’ Most Shocking Moments

The show has had its fair share of wild moments and plenty of them came from Parks. It’s not easy to get fired from RHOA, yet she managed to get the boot. What did she do? Check out her most impressive moments  below.

Parks did not get off to a good start with her RHOA costars. In one embarrassing moment, she butt dialed Cynthia Bailey. It was then that Bailey heard Parks’ comments about attending her son’s birthday party. Parks could be heard saying, “Cynthia was like: ‘I gotta go out of town’. But I really don’t give a f--k about her coming.”

Things just got worse for Parks. In 2014, her husband, Apollo Nida, was arrested and chared with fraud and identity theft. While the bombshell arrest rocked RHOA, many naturally asked what Parks may have known about Nida’s criminal activities. According to Angela Stanton, who authored the book Lies of a Real Housewife, Parks may have been the mastermind behind the entire criminal enterprise.  The author made a bold claim when she wrote, “ “Phaedra was this crooked attorney who knew how to commit crimes against the federal government. She also knew how to get away.” Unsurprisingly, the real housewife and lawyer sued Stanton’s publisher for these claims, a lawsuit that was eventually settled for a mere $2,500 in 2012. but this wouldn’t be the only claim Phaedra would take legal action against.

Not only did Stanton accuse Parks of overseeing her husband’s criminal schemes, she also accused the real housewife of leading a very kinky life. Stanton’s book detailed Parks’ alleged liking for S&M and even accused her of having her very own sex dungeon! Parks and Stanton began a long legal battle that only ended 2016 with the defamation suits being dropped on both sides.

While Parks may or may not have a sex-den, one of her sexual escapade was confirmed: she had slept with Mynique Smith’s husband, Chuck Smith when she was a young lawyer, but so did two other of Smith’s costars. The former NFL player claimed to have had sexual relationships with Parks, Nene Leakes, and Kandi Burress! Awkward!

Parks’ husband, Nida, was sentenced to eight years in federal prison for fraud in 2014. Despite being ordered to check himself into the prison, Nida decided to make a stop at Parks’ house one last time where he reportedly ran around like a lunatic. 

While hubby was behind bars, Parks faced allegations of an affair from her own friend no less. During a dinner, fellow housewife Kenya Moore brought up a man by the name of Mr. Chocolate. When Moore referred to him as the man that Parks was sleeping with, all hell broke loose. Parks leapt over the table and brawled with Kenya.

In 2016, the feds paid a visit to Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker in order to seize a couple of motorcycles that they were holding for Nida. The visit came as a surprise to the couple. How could they have known to visit them? This led to Williams making a comment about Burruss thinking she may have called the feds on her. But shortly after, the housewives all wondered if Parks may have been the actual snitch.

Parks’ relationship was nothing but drama. Accusations of cheating and Nida’s prison sentence were just some of their problems. They eventually divorced but not before Nida became engaged while in prison, to Sherien Almufti. Phaedra’s life couldn’t be more dramatic!

Nida’s new romance was always going to be problematic, but it was also perfect for more drama. His new love, Almufti, made her way onto the show where she immediately began a feud with Parks, by saying that Parks’ “s--t does stink after all.”

Phaedra Parks’ wild ride finally came to an end when she was fired in 2017. The final straw came when Parks reportedly spread a rumor that Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, had wanted to drug Porsha Williams and bring her back to their house for sex. The outrageous claim plus her refusal to date on the show and discuss her troubles with Apollo Nida forced producers to boot her from the show.
