Pam Bondi is out as U.S. Attorney General only one year after being sworn in, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
On Thursday, April 2, a source told CNN that President Donald Trump fired Bondi following her controversial handling of the Epstein files and that she will temporarily be replaced by Deputy AG Todd Blanche.
Pam Bondi Axed

Donald Trump reportedly made the decision to remove Pam Bondi as U.S. Attorney General.
Sources claimed Trump, 79, had a "tough" conversation about the possibility of giving Bondi the boot on Wednesday.
While there were a number of reasons for her getting the ax, Trump was reportedly most perturbed by her handling of the Epstein files and for not prosecuting "enough of his political opponents," per CNN.
Much like former DHS Secretary Kristi Noem – who was fired and reassigned as Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas last month – Bondi will be moved to a different role.
Trump Confirms Pam Bondi Is Out

Donald Trump called Pam Bondi a 'great American patriot' via Truth Social.
Shortly after the rumors of Bondi's firing circulated online, Trump confirmed she would be transitioning to a new job.
"Pam Bondi is a Great American Patriot and a loyal friend, who faithfully served as my Attorney General over the past year," he penned via Truth Social.
"Pam did a tremendous job overseeing a massive crackdown in Crime across our Country, with Murders plummeting to their lowest level since 1900," the POTUS continued. "We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future, and our Deputy Attorney General, and a very talented and respected Legal Mind, Todd Blanche, will step in to serve as Acting Attorney General."
Pam Bondi Called Out by House Oversight Committee

Pam Bondi was sworn in as U.S. Attorney General in February 2025.
As Radar previously reported, Bondi was subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee over the "possible mismanagement" of the probe into late trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged client list.
She was ordered to appear in court on April 14.
"The Committee has questions regarding the Department of Justice’s handling of the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and his associates and its compliance with the Epstein Files Transparency Act," Chairman James Comer wrote, according to Fox News.
Nancy Mace Slams Pam Bondi

Nancy Mace called out Pam Bondi and claimed videos and audio were missing from the Epstein files dump.
Republican Representative Nancy Mace also accused Bondi of not releasing all of the Epstein files.
"The Epstein case is one of the greatest cover-ups in American history," Mace declared in March. "His global sex trafficking network is larger than what is being revealed."
"Three million documents have been released, and we still don't have the full truth," she continued. "Videos are missing. Audio is missing. Logs are missing. There are millions more documents out there."
Mace claimed they wanted to know "why the DOJ is more focused on shielding the powerful than delivering justice."
However, a spokesperson for the Justice Department insisted that the subpoena was "completely unnecessary."
"Lawmakers have been invited to view the unredacted files for themselves at the Department of Justice, and the Attorney General has always made herself available to speak directly with members of Congress," the DOJ spokesperson stated at the time. "She continues to have calls and meetings with members of Congress on the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which is why the Department offered to brief the committee tomorrow. As always, we look forward to continuing to provide policymakers with the facts."
