Joseph Duggar Admits He's 'Receiving Financial Help' From Disgraced Brother Josh's Wife Anna During Jail Call — Years After Leaning on the Sex Offender for 'Advice'

Joseph Duggar, charged with sexually molesting a minor, is finding support from one family member who knows what he is going through, RadarOnline.com can report.

The former 19 Kids and Counting star has revealed he's been receiving advice and financial aid from his sister-in-law Anna Duggar, whose husband Josh Duggar is behind bars for the next decade after being convicted on a child pornography charge.

While Joseph prepares his defense after pleading "not guilty" to molesting a then nine-year-old girl, he is getting some de facto support from Anna, who continues to stand by her own incarcerated man.

During a jail phone call from Joseph to wife Kendra, the 31-year-old said he had been exchanging texts with Anna, who helped him navigate the prison's tricky payment system.

"She sent me money," Joseph told Kendra. "I guess she sent me some money. I think it costs $6 for a 20-minute phone call is what I figured out."

As the call circulated, online critics were aghast that Anna would even want to help.

"Just when you think someone has reached a low by supporting their child predator spouse, they also support their child predator brother-in-law, too," one person said in a Reddit chat room.

Another person jabbed, "Whatever about standing by your man, you sure as s--t don’t have to stand by someone else's man."

While one person simply wondered, "Wait, Anna is sending Joe money? She has money to give??"

Anna has not publicly confirmed whether she is still married to Josh as he serves out his prison sentence. However, the mother-of-seven appeared to be wearing a wedding band in a recent video shared to her dog breeding business' social media account

On February 17, Anna took to her Golden Groves Pups Instagram to show off three puppies who would be going to their new homes soon.

"Meet Whitaker, Beaumont, and Harrington — three of our handsome little golden guys," the caption read. "We always love hearing what our program means to the wonderful families who welcome these beautiful pups into their forever homes. Maybe yours will be next?"

While she cuddled and pet the playful pooches, she could be seen wearing a band on the ring finger of her left hand.

It's not the first time Anna or Josh has come to Joseph's aid. A recently rediscovered clip from the family's former TLC series has raised eyebrows at Joseph's apparent choice for a mentor.

In a clip of the family at the gym, a younger Joseph casually admitted he leaned on Josh, 38, for advice.

"I go to my dad and Josh for advice, so it's kinda neat they come to me for advice this time," Joseph said at the time.

The comment, once seemingly harmless, has taken on a far darker tone in light of what’s since come to light about both Josh and Joseph.

Joseph has also been one of the few family members to visit Josh in prison. Almost exactly two years before his own bust, Joseph and his brother-in-law, David Waller, traveled to FCI Seagoville near Dallas, Texas, for a reunion.

There apparently was no hint at the time that Joseph would someday be facing similar child-based sexual charges.

"Joseph and David were there to visit Josh. They both stayed all day," a source relayed at the time. "They looked relaxed and happy. They just shared a couple of snacks and chatted all day."
