Gypsy Rose Blanchard has issued a lengthy apology after leaked prison calls revealed her repeatedly using racial slurs and making other racist remarks, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
Since the leaks made rounds online, the former inmate has appeared to temporarily shut down her social media.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard's Offensive Prison Calls

Gypsy Rose Blanchard allegedly used offensive language in calls from prison.
Blanchard, 35, spent roughly 7.5 years behind bars for her role in plotting the gruesome 2015 murder of her mother, Dee Dee.
She was released from prison in late December 2023 and has since documented her post-prison life online and through documentaries.
In newly leaked calls from prison with her now ex-husband, Ryan Anderson, the 35-year-old could be heard making a number of offensive racial remarks, according to The Shade Room.
Anderson also reportedly used the "n-word" during their conversations.
Gypsy Rose Speaks Out on Leaked Prison Calls

Gypsy Rose Blanchard admitted to making 'cruel' comments about her family.
In her social media statement, Blanchard admitted that she "used racist language and made cruel, disrespectful comments, including about people I love," like her sister Mia and her sister's fiancé, Andre.
In leaked clips online, Blanchard reportedly made light of her sister's history of dating Black men.
"What I said was wrong. The words were racist, and I take full responsibility for saying them," she continued. "There is no excuse for the language or the pain it's caused."
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Apologizes to the Black Community

Gypsy Rose Blanchard said her words were 'hateful and demeaning.'
She also apologized to the Black community for "using words that are hateful and demeaning," confessing that she understood the "anger and disappointment those words carry."
"To Mia and Andre, I'm especially sorry. You didn't deserve that then, and you don't deserve that hurt now," she continued. "Since coming home, being able to have a relationship with you both has meant so much, and it's heartbreaking that my own words have caused this pain and damaged that trust."
Blanchard noted that she'd already apologized privately, but she knew "forgiveness or reconciliation is not something I'm owed" and said she would respect whatever "boundaries you need and accept that healing happens on your timeline, not mine."
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Says She Is 'Truly Sorry'

Gypsy Rose Blanchard was released from prison in December 2023.
Blanchard did not explain why she made those offensive remarks in the first place, nor did she elaborate on any past beliefs she may have had, but she did claim that "those words and attitudes don't reflect who I am or what I believe now."
"I reject them completely," she added. "I know saying that isn't enough and that my actions over time have to demonstrate change. I can't go back and undo what I said. What I can do is acknowledge it fully, learn from it, and continue choosing to be better every single day."
"I wanted to make this statement, not because these calls became public, but because I should never have spoken those words in the first place," she said, nearing her conclusion. "To everyone I hurt, especially Mia and Andrew, I am truly sorry."
