As she bravely battles Lyme disease, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Yolanda Foster says she's taken singer Avril Lavigne, who also has the disease, under her wing during the tough time.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, speaking with Bravo, said that she's been a source of support and guidance for the "Sk8er Boi" singer, who went public Wednesday in saying she's been battling the ailment for months, and thought she "was dying" as the symptoms set in.
After Lavigne was diagnosed, Foster was there to help shed light on what she should expect moving forward in her battle with Lyme disease.
"I took Avril under my wing when she first got sick and shared all I know," the Dutch beauty told her home network. "I am so proud of her for going public and helping us bring awareness to this debilitating disease."
The 30-year-old singer and 51-year-old reality star go back four years, as Lavigne actually performed at Yolanda's wedding to David Foster in 2011, the year before she was diagnosed with the disease.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Foster herself continues to fight the ailment, which caused her early exit from this week's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion show.
The mother of model Gigi Hadid bowed out saying her "brain needed quiet and silence," as she wanted to "go to bed."
"I just pray every day that maybe tomorrow is a better day," she said.
