Friends Reportedly Planning Intervention For Troubled ‘Teen Mom’ Leah Messer: ‘Friends Think She Needs Rehab’

Leah Messer’s life has been spiraling out of control — and now her loved ones are stepping in to save her.
According to In Touch, friends are considering staging an intervention for the Teen Mom 2 star, 22, who as RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed, has been struggling with a dangerous painkiller habit.
“Leah’s not in a good place right now. She’s lost,” an insider tells In Touch. “Her friends think she needs rehab.”
And not only are local pals in the mother of three’s native West Virginia concerned. In Touch is reporting that MTV execs are planning to send their star to the same treatment facility in which fellow Teen Mom girls Amber Portwood, 23, and Jenelle Evans, 22, received help.
“MTV would foot the bill,” a source says. “They’re as shocked about this as the fans and genuinely want her to get help.”
And while the perky blonde has been gushing about her love for husband Jeremy Calvert, 25, on Twitter, and insider paints a very different picture of the couple’s three-year marriage.

“He’s already met with lawyers and is definitely filing for divorce— he’s over Leah,” a source says of the father to Messer’s 21-month-old daughter Adalynn and hard-working pipeline engineer, who publicly accused his wife of cheating with drug-addled ex Robbie Kidd, 22, last month. (Messer has denied any infidelity.)
Meanwhile, Messer has other legal troubles brewing. Ex husband Corey Simms, 25, has been fighting for primary custody of their 4-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah.
“Leah loves her children,” a source tells In Touch. “If she thinks she’ll really lose them, she’ll probably go to rehab. And it may just come to that.”
