Stay Away! Britney Spears' Las Vegas Staff Is On ‘High Alert’ For Sightings Of Her ‘Idiot’ Ex

Britney Spears may be a little bit “overprotected," but it is for her own good! Currently in the midst of a bitter breakup from cheating ex David Lucado, she’s also in the middle of a string of dates for her "Piece Of Me" residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. And RadarOnline.com has learned that staff members for the production have "been put on high-alert” in case Lucado should show up in Vegas trying to make an in-person apology.

“We were all told to inform security immediately if we see David Lucado anywhere, especially around Britney,” a source close to the “Toxic” singer tells RadarOnline.com. “That means in Las Vegas, or California, where they sometimes will do rehearsals.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Lucado, 28, had been caught cheating on Spears by her father, Jamie Spears, with a porn star, Cali Lee, 24.

“The split was for her own good,” the source tells RadarOnline.com. “Britney deserves better than David and she does not tolerate cheating.”

“David is an idiot,” the source adds.

“She really loved him and the kids really loved him,” the insider says, referring to Spears sons Sean Preston, 9, and Jayden James, 7, who were regularly seen with Lucado.

Spears officially broke it off with Lucado on Aug. 28, with a tweet that read, “Ahhhh…the single life!”
