The war over Kate and Jon Gosselin has taken its ugliest turn ever, with drug arrests and death threats being revealed and connected to people who have vocally backed either Jon or Kate.

Years after the dissolution of the reality TV couple’s marriage drew big ratings and fueled magazine headlines for months, the Gosselins have become the center of a new battleground, and it has gotten very, very nasty.

James McGibney from Bullyville.com has promised to lead a class-action lawsuit against people he says have “crossed the line” in regards to Kate and her followers, as RadarOnline.com previously reported.

Now McGibney and supporters are publicly releasing information accusing anti-Kate forces of harassing people who have expressed support for the mom of eight to extreme measures, including waging a campaign against a mom with a severely handicapped child.

McGibney released information on Monday claiming that one woman who runs a popular anti-Kate blog had been arrested on a drug charge. The woman, whose name is being withheld by RadarOnline.com, told us that she was NOT arrested and said she was using her aunt’s name.

“No, that is not me,” the woman told RadarOnline.com in an email interview. “They are just posting anything on any (name redacted) they can find.

“(Name redacted) is not even my real name, it is my aunt's name. I started out using her name about 5 or 6 years ago. This is completely untrue.”

But the anti-Kate blog run by that woman is at the center of the new controversy. A Kate supporter also came forward yesterday and claimed to have “death threats, death wishes and extreme libel of me and my family,” emanating from that site.

The woman says she was accused of being a pedophile and that after her husband died, his memorial page was filled with “foul things” written by anti-Kate forces from the blog. Much of this has been captured electronically.

“It’s disgusting the lies they make up about people and this is what they do to Kate Gosselin and her children too,” wrote the woman, who pledged to help McGibney with his lawsuit.

Another person connected to a “hate blog” was allegedly arrested on child endangerment charges, according to info posted by bullyville. McGibney has made it clear he is using all public information and traceable digital footprints to run down this information and is working with a legal team.

He previously sued – and defeated – Hunter Moore, whose “revenge porn” website was notorious for its nastiness.

Kate Gosselin is firmly on Bullyville’s side, and has publicly expressed support for exposing bullies everywhere. As RadarOnline.com previously reported she will be part of the class action suit.

“This is the ugliest episode yet in the Jon and Kate saga,” one source told RadarOnline.com. “Supporters of each side are fighting with each other and some really ugly truths are coming out. Right now, you can see how people who supported Kate were bullied and harassed.

“This definitely seems headed to court.”

Meanwhile Jon continues to be in the middle of the controversy as RadarOnline.com released text messages he sent to then-girflriend Hailey Glassman in 2009 showing he was taking Kate’s computer to “put the final nail in her coffin.”

Jon gave Kate’s computer hard drive to Robert Hoffman, who then self-publishe an e-book that savaged Kate. Hoffman has admitted he is friends with Jon, but denies he was given the computer material and says he pulled it out of Kate’s trash.
