Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are on a romantic child-free getaway this weekend, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

The pair checked into the ritzy Bacara Resort just north of Santa Barbara, Ca., Saturday, with Dean even helping the valets get their bags out of their SUV while Tori rushed to the front desk.

"Moments later, Dean was at her side with a protective arm around her while she told the Bacara staff that their bags could be taken their room, and they were going straight to the spa for their his and hers appointments," an eyewitness tells RadarOnline.com.

Moments later they hopped on a golf cart driven by a Bacara bellman to be taken directly to the spa entrance.

"They both seemed very happy at managing their little couples getaway minus their kids," the source says.  "Tori was wearing a long white sundress with thin spaghetti straps and looked terrific."

Tori and Dean are parents to four children: Liam, five, Stella, four, Hattie, one, and two-month-old Finn.

As previously reported, Tori nearly died during her pregnancy.

And days after leaving the hospital following her C-section delivery of Finn, Tori was rushed back with life-threatening complications from the birth.

Fortunately it appears that all is now well, and Tori and Dean decided to treat themselves to a brief romantic getaway.
