Blonde, beautiful and a with a sexy fishtail, Daryl Hannah fulfilled every heterosexual man's fantasy of what a mermaid should look like when she starred alongside Tom Hanks in 1984's Splash.

Unfortunately, like many women in Hollywood, the 51-year-old actress has been trying too hard to fight back the years through surgery with unfortunate results.

"It's very sad, but the star of Splash appears to have gotten fish lips! Daryl's face looks like it's undergone quite a few changes, likely from the plastic surgeon's needle," celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.

Former Bond Bombshell Britt Ekland 'Needs To Quit Plumping,' Says Plastic Surgeon

"I suspect that her overly plumped up lips are due to injections of a filler like Restylane, causing her upper lip to be thicker than her lower lip," explained Dr. Youn.

An environmentalist and green-campaigner, Hannah has even been arrested for her dedication to keeping the planet clean, so many would assume she would go for a more natural look rather than pumping products into her face.

"Her eyebrows and forehead also have changed, resembling a Botox brow. When Botox is injected into the forehead, in some people it can cause the eyebrows to take a somewhat sinister-looking shape," explained the surgeon.

"I also suspect that she's had some injections of filler, like Sculptra, into her cheeks. This may be causing her to look more plump than she did 20 years ago."
