Since surviving a devastating small plane propellor accident last December, model and fashion blogger Lauren Scruggs has made a miraculous recovery, which meant she had even more to celebrate when she turned 24 on Wednesday.
Lucky to be alive after losing her left hand and eye and suffering horrific head injuries, the pretty blonde birthday girl showed off her new prosthetic arm when she stepped out in her home town of Dallas, Texas.
The latest medically-fitted limb comes five months after Lauren received a prosthetic eye and marks the latest milestone on her inspirational road to recovery.
Dressed in shorts, a loose-fitting top and a baseball cap, the aspiring style expert made no attempt to hide her new arm while she enjoyed her big day.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Scruggs underwent extensive surgery after she walked into a live plane propeller on December 3 following a sight-seeing flight looking at Christmas lights. Lauren suffered injuries to her entire left side as well as a fractured skull, broken left collarbone and brain injuries.
Along with her grueling rehabilitation program, she has been busy writing a new book, Still Lolo: A Spinning Propeller, a Horrific Accident, and a Family's Journey of Hope, about the small plane flight that ripped both her face and her life apart.
