Paula Deen has changed her unhealthy ways.
The Georgia chef who is known for her fried fatty foods has dropped a whopping 30 pounds since she revealed she has Type 2 diabetes.
"I do think differently now" about food, Deen tells People magazine. "I'm more aware."
The 65-year-old actually discovered she had the disease three years ago, but didn't publicly disclose her diagnosis until a a few months ago, which sparked harsh criticism.
"It took me a couple of years to get to this point. If you make a few small changes, they can add up to big results," she said.
So what are those changes? Instead of gorging on mashed potatoes, Paula now makes better choices like Greek salads and baked fish.
