The bitter custody battle continues to simmer between Padma Lakshmi and her baby’s daddy Adam Dell

A Manhattan Court ruled Wednesday that their 2-year-old girl Krishna is indeed Dell’s daughter (via DNA tests), and will take on his last name and go by the moniker, Krishna Thea Lakshmi-Dell, according to the New York Post.

The name remained a point of contention after Lakshmi refused to put Dell’s name on the baby’s birth certificate.

Dell, the 42-year-old brother of billionaire computer mogul Michael Dell, claimed in court papers that Lakshmi tried “to minimize, if not eliminate his role in Krishna's life and to install” her late billionaire lover Teddy Forstmann as the child’s father.

The 41-year-old Top Chef beauty reportedly encouraged the child to call Forstmann -- who died of brain cancer in November at 71 -- “papa.”
