Casey Anthony hits another milestone -- she’s spending her first birthday not behind bars in three years.
The reviled ‘Tot Mom’ turns 26 Monday, less than a year after being acquitted of her daughter Caylee Marie Anthony’s murder by a Florida jury.
Casey was arrested in October 2008 and stood trial for Caylee’s murder in 2011.
Her acquittal caused national outrage, and Casey has been in hiding ever since, with her lawyers claiming that with multiple death threats having been made against her, her life is in danger.
However, she has been releasing a series of videos and photos of her ever changing looks and updates about her “new life,” which mention her new hair, dog, eating out but never mention the death of her daughter.
"I'm just really starting to feel good about a lot of things. It's about time," Casey said in one of her videos. "I'm really starting to like the way things are going and where they're are going.
"I'm just happy. I'm really happy."
Casey’s parents George and Cindy Anthony have apparently not spoken to their daughter since her release from jail on July 17, 2011.
Caylee Marie Anthony would have turned 6 on August 5, 2011.
