Following the tragic death of Whitney Houston at the Beverly Hilton Hotel nearly two weeks ago, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the luxury hotel decided to fire staffers for talking to the press about the tragedy.

Houston, 48, died after consuming a fatal mix of Xanax, Valium and alcohol on February 11, just hours before Clive Davisannual pre-Grammy party.

The chaos that followed at the hotel, with hundreds of people descending on the property for the party, as well as paramedics, fire, police and investigators was an immediate national headline.

The few staffers that gave interviews or spoke to media outlets were immediately reprimanded by the hotel and subsequently lost their jobs, RadarOnline.com has learned.

“The hotel employees that talked to the media were fired because they violated hotel policy,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “They weren’t high level employees, but the hotel didn’t want anyone to talk about Whitney’s tragic death.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, a star studded funeral service was held for the singer last Saturday in New Jersey.
