“She told me she’s getting better.”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Demi’s erratic behavior may have started when a guy she fell in love with died in a tragic tubing accident.

Demi’s dad said they talked about their relationship and how the death of David Osborn affected her

“She was really heartbroken. She was really in love with the guy,” Patrick said.

“Bless her heart. She’s always been an honest person, what can I say?”

Patrick said her treatment is the best thing for his daughter and he hopes for a reconciliation with Demi, Dallas and their mom.

“All I’ve got here is my dog Daytona but I’ve offered to let Demi come and stay here any time she wants to.”
