Family Feud! Inside Casey Kasem’s Widow & Kids' Long History Of Hate

Family reunions at the Kasem house probably aren’t much fun.
As RadarOnline.com has exclusively revealed, Casey Kasem’s second wife Jean has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the DJ’s grown-up kids, accusing them of forcing control over their father, and letting him die.
But that’s just the latest chapter in this family feud, with both sides fighting for control of his rumored $80 million estate.
In 2014, with Casey already suffering from dementia, daughters Julie and Kerri, and son Mike, claimed Power of Attorney over their father, but Jean contends that Casey signed the paperwork years earlier “under duress and undue influence.”
According to the just-filed lawsuit, Casey was, “without legal representation, recovering from surgery, under the influence of medications and other substances that causes drowsiness and impairs judgement.”
So when Kerri came with an ambulance to pick her father up at his home, Jean responded by throwing a pound of ground beef at her!
“In the name of King David, I threw a piece of raw meat into the street, in exchange for my husband, to the wild rabid dogs,” Jean, the blonde bombshell of Cheers fame, told NBC following the series of events.
A few days later, the kids accused Jean of elder abuse after allegedly endangering their father when she removed a feeding tube that was surgically placed in the radio pioneer’s body before abruptly removing him from a nursing home and dragged him to a house in Washington.

As the bitter feud escalated, Casey died on June 15, 2014, at the age of 82. But that didn’t stop the fighting.
Over the next several months, Casey rested in anything but peace, as Jean took his body across the globe, from Washington to Canada and on to Norway, in what Kerri believes was an attempt to skirt the elder abuse charges.
“She is the type of woman who will take my dad and bury him as far away as possible from anywhere he’s ever been, from any of his loved ones,” Kerri told RadarOnline.com. “She hated us. She hated his family!”
Six months after he died, Casey was finally buried in Norway.
In a bizarre claim, Jean – who grew up in New Hampshire before living in a Beverly Hills mansion bought by her husband – said she took him there because of her Norwegian heritage.
But Kerri doesn’t buy that.
“She will put him anywhere,” Kerri told RadarOnline.com. “Anything she can do, even in death, to make sure we are not around him, she is going to do!”
