Taylor Armstrong: I Hope Nigella Lawson Will 'Go Out And Tell Her Story'
June 19 2013, Published 12:35 p.m. ET
Taylor Armstrong, who famously opened up about being a domestic violence victim at the hands of her late husband Russell, has spoke about the disconcerting incident involving celeb chef Nigella Lawson and her husband Charles Saatchi.
As we previously reported, Saatchi, an art collector, was snapped with his hands on wife Nigella's neck and nose at a London restaurant June 9, an exchange he previously brushed off as a "playful tiff" before being issued a caution by authorities in the UK.
Taylor, drawing on her own experience, told ET she's afraid The Taste beauty might be staying silent about Saatchi's behavior behind closed doors.
"In my situation and a lot of other women that I've spoken to there's an extreme amount of shame that comes along with it, but also -- for me -- a belief that I was partially responsible," the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told ET. "I was convinced that I was the one that would make him so angry."

Taylor, a domestic violence advocate, said she's not sure if the "there's more to it than" the pictures indicate -- but if she is -- she hopes Nigella will "become a role model and go out and tell her story.
"And if there was more to it, then I think that he should" go to jail, she said.
