Porsha Williams, appearing on The View Tuesday, gave her side of her infamous skirmish with Kenya Moore during The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion — facing a mini-interrogation from the show’s Sherri Shepherd in the process.
Williams said that tension was thick with Moore after last season — before the former beauty queen accused her of cheating on former husband Kordell Stewart.
“Last season, I went to the reunion and at that time I was going through a divorce,” Williams said. “And um, well it was right before … she was accusing me of cheating.”
Williams noted that this season the Moore brought out “props” — Williams called them “weapons” — the scepter and the bullhorn — to antagonize her furthermore.
Asked about the pending charges Moore filed against her in the case, Williams said, “Just like everybody else who gets charged with something like that, I have to go to court.”
She said that she might consider bringing charges against Moore “because the scepter that she had was super-heavy.”
Shepherd wasn’t buying Williams’ reasons, telling the reality star, “You knew what you signed up for!
“This has been more than five seasons! You knew what you signed up for! When you did this show, they do this all the time!”

Williams retorted, “They do, but I didn’t know I was signing up on a show to end up with a mug shot — or to be bullied to that level! This woman has been bullied me and showed hatred toward me from day one and now she has weapons in her hand!”
Williams said of the skirmish — repeating what she’s said right afterwards in the original affair — “It was a horrible moment for me and immediately I was embarrassed.”
She added that she’s struggled with being on the bad end of bullying through elementary and middle school.

Williams wasn’t the only Atlanta housewife who appeared on the ABC show, as NeNe Leakes, freshly kicked off Dancing with the Stars, made a cameo. Leakes said she believed Williams was provoked, and hoped to do damage control at the time of the mercurial incident.
