The mystery of Mariah Woods’ sad death may have been solved, as RadarOnline.com has learned the boyfriend of the toddler’s mom allegedly killed the baby with a concentrated dose of Chloroform. Earl Kimrey has now been charged with first-degree murder.
The District Attorney's Office and Onslow County Sheriff's Office revealed this Wednesday that while Mariah’s autopsy has not been completed, it has been determined that chloroform – a deadly chemical compound – toxicity was the cause of her death.
When Mariah’s corpse was discovered last December, the alleged killer – who also reportedly sexual assaulted the three-year-old – was marked as a suspect in the case and charged with concealing the body. Kimrey, 32, was also charged with obstruction of justice, second-degree burglary, larceny and possession of stolen property.
The baby’s mother, Kristy Woods, reported her disappearance after she went missing from her bed between November 26 and November 27.
Earl Kimrey is being held without bond. More charges are expected to come.
