Catelynn Accuses Tyler Of Cheating After He Asks To Split: ‘Is There Somebody Else?'
Catelynn Lowell is pregnant and alone. On this week’s Teen Mom OG, Tyler Baltierra separates from his wife after she announces their pregnancy following months of marital discord.
“Tyler has been frustrated in our marriage for a while and has been seeing a therapist,” she said. “He decided he wanted to try to live separately for a month. I was devastated at first, but now that I started the home therapy I am more comfortable with the idea.”
Baltierra presented the idea when they went on a couples retreat in Sedona, Arizona.
“Basically me and you learned we have been together for so long, who are you as a person yourself?” Lowell said, as Baltierra added, “I said I want to live separately. It was the best place to bring it up.”
According to Baltierra, Lowell “took it hard.”
“In that moment it did trigger me,” Lowell said. “It did bring up wounds. It was scary. It was sad and it was hurtful. When people say they want to separate, they want to leave, it seriously does feel like somebody died. It’s bringing up the old wounds from the miscarriage.”
Lowell explained to a producer that although they aren’t seeing other people, she did fear that the reason for the temporary split was because he met another woman.
“I texted him and asked him is there somebody else,” she told a producer. “He’s like, ‘What the f**k, do you think I would cheat on you?’ No, but it was so blindsiding. The separation thing is going to be hard but it’ll be good for me so I can focus on me and Nova.”
Despite being separated, they threw a gender reveal party and learned they are welcoming another girl!
“I don't want another girl,” Lowell said, as she asked her husband, “Do you only make girls?”
As for Bristol Palin, she visits her hometown Alaska to take a break from her divorce drama with Dakota Meyer. While fishing with her family and friends, she revealed that she doesn’t think she’ll remarry.
“My parents have been married for 30 years,” she said. “Of course that would be so incredible, but my thoughts on it have changed so much. Being a single mom, I felt so judged cause I wasn’t married with Tripp. I wanted it to be all right. I don’t want to date ever!”
Later on in the episode, she explained how Meyer was controlling in their marriage.
“Things have gotten so ugly, it’s not good,” she said. “I can’t say I’m not surprised. I saw these traits and that’s why I didn’t want to get married in the first place. He hates everyone around me. He sat there and convinced me my parents hated me. Moving to Texas, I cut out every person in my life. It’s a control thing.”

Also on the episode, Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney are on the hunt for their “permanent” home. After seeing the “perfect” house, Bookout and McKinney put in an offer, which gets accepted right away.
While packing, the two reminisce on the home their children Bentley, 9, Jayde, 3, and Maverick, 2, have grown up in.
“The new house isn’t going to feel like home for a while,” she said. “It’s been fun!”
Cheyenne Floyd visits baby daddy Cory Wharton’s hometown with their daughter Ryder to meet his family and friends.
While there, she explains that she broke up with her boyfriend Zach for him.
“This was the breaking point, me coming out here,” she said. “He feels like you come before he does. He literally said, ‘pick.’ I know what I’m giving up and I know what I’m gaining.”
When she asked if he would chose her over a future girlfriend, he responded, “I’ve shown I would’ve done the same thing. I would pick you. I would easily choose you.”
And finally, after participating in a charity boxing match on last week’s episode, Amber Portwood continues to practice MMA to stay in shape.
Teen Mom OG airs Mondays at 9/8c on MTV.
