A spokesperson for the Hamilton County Jail in Tennessee told Radar that the Red Bank Police Department arrested Edwards, 30, on July 23 at 1:40pm for petition to revoke probation from a prior charge of simple possession of heroin.
"He is still here," the spokesperson told Radar. "He has no bond. He goes to court August 6, 2018. He will be in jail until his court date."
The Ashley's Reality Roundup was the first to break the news of Edwards' arrest. Edwards was first busted on March 12, 2017 for possession of heroin. In a citation obtained by Radar from Red Bank City Court in Tennessee, 14 hypodermic needles, one of which was loaded with heroin, and a bag tied in the center console with a dark substance inside was found during the search.
He was then arrested on March 27, 2018 for petition to revoke, which means breaking probation from the March 2017 bust.
Radar exclusively reported that he failed a scheduled drug test on January 17, 2018. He tested positive for opiates and morphine in a urine sample.
A source told Radar, "Ryan got six months probation and five public work days. He has random drug tests in between."
Edwards and his wife Mackenzie are not returning to Teen Mom OG.
His baby mama Maci Bookout, her husband Taylor McKinney, and their children Jayde, 3, and Maverick, 2, have a restraining order against him for two years because of threatening behavior. Edwards' son Bentley, 9, with Bookout is not listed on the restraining order.
Edwards is expecting a son with Mackenzie in October.
